WRC Rally Mexico Resultados
Unlike other teams that get special training at rally driving schools or just simply been racing
for years, LWRT is brand new to this rally motor sport and had to learn fast by racing their fast rally, a WRC event,
in a rental rally car with limited resources and barely any recce.
This team has proved that they can race with the top world rally teams. Ponce has
finished 2 WRC events so far in Class A6 without any prior rally experience. This unique rally team knows how to
finish a race and put on a great show for the fans as they proved once again at the KING OF THE HAMMERS 2011, the toughest
one day offroad world class race on the planet known to man, where they raced on a limited budget and managed
to finish this brutal desert rock race!
Primer team guanajuatense que compite en el WRC en la categoria A6 y ha logrado terminar sin
previa experencia en este deporte motorizado de rally. En el 2008 el piloto guanajuatense Ponce logro terminar en 2do
lugar (en un auto rentado de Benito Guerra Jr.) y fue nombrado piloto novato en la clase Puegeot 206 y gano la copa
Bernardo Audiberto por la mejor tripulacion mexicana. En el 2010 regreso con Bridge ya en su propio auto y terminaron
en 2do lugar en la clase A6 del WRC. En estas 2 carreras corrieron con llantas usadas. Ponce tambien es el primer
y unico piloto mexicano que compite en el serie Ultra 4 y ha logrado terminar el King of the Hammers, la carrera offroad mas extreme
del planeta. Ponce tambien ha participado y tomado podiums en el Extreme Fun Race en Venzuela, Nordic
Trial y EuroTrial en Noruega.

* WRC MEXICO - Placed 2nd in class A6. Featured in Rally Buzz of Europe and World Rally Sport Mag of the USA. This was Ponce's
second rally, this time in his own rally car, with american co driver Bill Bridge. Even though the team had multiple mechanical
issues they finished every stage!

* WRC MEXICO - Placed 2nd in the Peugeot Class, 9th in class A6, named rookie team amongst the mexicans, and awarded the Bernardo
Audibert Cup (Copa Bernardo Audibert). This was their first rally ever. They had no special training
or rally experience, and very limited resources. Raced in a rental car sponsored by Tecate Beer for the folks of Guanajuato
and in memory of Louie Alfredo Ponce.
